COSMETIC USE AND PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS Body: Rosehip oil refreshes the skin, moisturizes it, and makes it soft and supple. It contributes to improved scar formation and the smoothing of stretch marks caused by pregnancy or rapid weight loss. It aids tissue regeneration in the case of scars, including surgical scars. For this purpose, daily application of pure oil along the cracks and skin lesions caused by the aforementioned skin defects is recommended. Rosehip oil is also useful for sunburn, psoriasis, and eczema. To make a massage oil, mix one part sunflower oil with one part sweet almond oil and one part rosehip oil, then add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Massage the affected area with gentle, circular movements until the massage oil is completely absorbed. Hands: The oil nourishes and softens stressed hands used for manual work and which therefore show signs of premature aging. Also useful for dark spots after frequent sun exposure. Add a few drops to your hand cream to enrich it with smoothing and regenerating properties. For dark spots, add two drops of lemon essential oil to the rosehip oil. Face: Rosehip oil is used to speed up skin healing after minor burns and sunburns. For wrinkles, leave on for 15-20 minutes, remove with a cotton pad, and then pat until the oil is completely absorbed.

Protect from direct sunlight and heat sources. Use in sun exposure is not recommended, as it has a photosensitizing effect (promotes the formation of dark spots on the skin). Excessive amounts may be comedogenic, meaning it promotes the formation of blackheads and/or acne. Do not use if allergic to plants in the rose family.
