General information on data processing

We appreciate your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is important to us. Below, we provide detailed information about how we handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Access data and hosting

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. With each access, the web server automatically saves so-called server log files (e.g., the name of the requested file, IP address, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, requesting provider). This access data is evaluated solely for the purpose of ensuring the smooth operation of the website and improving our offering (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). All access data is deleted at the latest after your visit to the website.

2. Data processing for contract processing and contact

2.1 Contract execution

For the purpose of contract processing (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), we collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order. Mandatory fields are marked as such, as we need the data to process the contract. The collected data can be seen on the respective input forms.

2.2 Customer account

With your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), we will open a customer account. You can delete your customer account at any time by sending us a message.

2.3 Contact

When you contact us (e.g., by email or via our contact form), we collect personal data that you provide to us voluntarily (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). This data will be used exclusively to process your inquiry and subsequently deleted unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.

2.4 Live chat via WhatsApp

To process inquiries, we use WhatsApp from WhatsApp Ireland Limited, a company of Meta Platforms Inc. (USA). When using the chat, personal data is processed. Standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR exist to protect your data.

3. Shipping processing

In order to fulfil the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, we will pass on your data to shipping service providers if this is necessary for delivery.

4. Payment processing

Depending on the payment method you choose, we will pass on your data to the respective payment service provider in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

5. Advertising by email

5.1 Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use your email address for our own advertising purposes with your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

5.2 Newsletter tracking

With your consent, we record the opening and click rates of our newsletters in order to optimize their content.

5.3 Requests for evaluation

With your consent, we will send you review requests via email via Trusted Shops GmbH. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

6. Trusted Shops Trustbadge

To display our Trusted Shops seal of quality, we use the Trustbadge from Trusted Shops GmbH. Data processing is carried out by providers in third countries with standard contractual clauses in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR.
